Does anyone know if there are large printable hexmaps out there? Like 4 foot by 4 foot and I could take a .pdf to Kinkos or something and have one printed out? |

We have hex maps on the website. Perhaps you could assemble them into what you want? _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Those are awesome! I was thinking about pulling this one into Photoshop and inverting the image so it's white hexes on a black background and put a NASA image behind it. I should be able to take it over to Kinko's then and have them print it on a large sheet. Maybe even vinyl. |

Definitely do it in vinyl, if you can afford it. I've made maps like that before and they are very durable. Also, you can glue lead weights to the edges so that the lay perfectly flat every time.
As for that photo, there aren't any hexes, but I suppose you could just move along the numbers instead, treating each number as the center of a 'hex.'
I'm actually considering one of these... http://corseceng.com/fabric-mats/ |
