Wow, that's a log of questions in one very unstructured sentence.
The Kestrels are any Romulan ships that are conversions of Klingon ships. Take a look at the Federation Commander Master Ship Chart to see which ones are currently in the game. In theory, there is the potential for a Romulan version of any Klingon ship.
The D5 Kestrel is formally the KDR, also known as the KD5R. The D5W Kestrel is formally the KWR, also known as the KD5WR. The KDR was in consideration for Reinforcements attack, but didn't make it. The KDR is in Communique #45 and the KWR is in Communique #67. Both should appear in Romulan ePack #3.
The Borders of Madness product is not yet on the schedule, so there is no timetable for when it will be done and available anywhere, much less the UK.
I don't know the e23 schedule, sorry. _________________

Long ago complaint.
Several newer members were resurrecting old threads and throwing out a bunch of one word replies... "Yep"... "me too"... " "... etc.
In an effort to artificially inflate their post count... thereby artificially inflating their ranks.
Says the guy with the highest post count to the guy with the 4th highest post count (right behind mjwest and SVC)... _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Feh. Legitimate question, followed by another post with a legitimate question is not post-tally bloating, that is good old-fashioned discussion. The old thing with posts like "cool" was indeed an issue, but no one around here would ever have a problem with real talk. _________________

Not sure why anyone would put much credence into "ranks" and post counts around here anyways... |

We had a member who did, but he was quite young and that type of thing appeals. Once folks explained how meaningless (but amusing) they really were, he changed to making some notable contributions, which was appreciated.
The main issue was necromancy of old, dead threads to simply add meaningless comments. That did indeed clutter everyone's "new posts" count, for no reason. Adding to old threads with something of value is actually a good thing and, in my opinion, better than starting a new thread. Some folks may not have seen the previous discussion and it can inform new comments on the subject at-hand. _________________

Of course, this all misses one really important point: You can ask multiple questions in a single post. My comment wasn't that a single post had multiple questions. It was that the were all posed as short fragments in two run-on sentences. Feel free to ask multiple questions in one post. Just use good English and make them intelligible. _________________

50? No issue. Most of us who started playing SFB in the 70's are 50-ish now anyway (unless they were 50 to start with, which would make them 90-ish ) _________________ Damn, these dice are cold! |

Yep, another 50-ish player here! I started playing with the old pocket version of the game during college. Played my way though the Designer's and Commander's versions and only recently got back into the SFU with ACTA:SF, Armada and Federation Commander. _________________ Mike
