I played the Cassini Incident scenario (8TR6 in Transports Attacked for Federation Commander and SH84 in Module S1 for Star Fleet Battles)

I am interested in any tips for the how the Federation could win that scenario. With keeping the pods, the Klingons will always outrun the Federation, and while the tug has a surprising amount of firepower, it is still outgunned.

I tried to maneuver around, I managed to force my opponent to use their HET and I almost succeeded with a suicide shuttle impact, but it was not enough. I could not do enough damage to really hurt the ship. After losing two shields, I decided the best I could do was drop the pods and run for it.

In the end I manged to draw. In our post game analysis, my opponent and I both felt like a draw was about the best the Federation player could hope for.

I am really curious, what tactics we did not htink of that can give the Federation a full win.
