I am looking forward to the release of Federation Admiral. I have a question, maybe someone knows? Does it include a system to resolved battles without using SFB/FC. VBAM has a system to resolve combats like this so it is done fast. This would for me mainly be for those not so grand battles you want to get out of the way because I do not want to play out every fight, like a six ship fleet versus one destroyer. This is a feature I really want in this book.

Thanks.

The initial draft of Fed Admiral included such an abstract combat system, so I'd guess it'll be in the final version as well.

Just for those completely lopsided (or really huge) battles you do not want to play out but resolve quickly.

Exactly Tony. Who wants to bring out a map, tokens, ship cards and so on to resolve a meaningless battle.

Which is exactly why there is an abstracted combat system.

There is a topic for Federation Admiral, and this isn't it. We don't need multiple topics for the same product. It just confuses everyone.
