We got sample masters from Bruce today for the new Class-II, Class-III, and Class-IV freighters and auxiliaries. I'd love to show them to you BUT the ones Bruce sent are defective and I cannot have photos of defective ships being copied all over the internet. Pity, they're really great.

These are the new jumbo (Class-III; 3-pod) and heavy (Class-IV; 4-pod) freighters I modeled up.

Each has a unique lower piece and both use a common upper piece that also happens to make a nice new (Class-II; 2-pod) large freighter. The common upper part happens to be accurized, with the correct singular phaser tower, rear phaser mount, etc.

Hopefully, we'll be seeing these as production minis, soon.

Well, in theory, Bruce has received instructions to send me new masters that aren't defective. At best, I'll have those next week. Assuming I do get two of them, I'll post photos and mail one set of them to the famous Spanish artist named Antonio El'Tomas to have them painted and simultaneously tell Bruce to have production molds made. It could take 1d6 weeks to get production molds, then another week to get the first shipment. THEN they go on the cart.

The folks at ADB are having fun combining the various modular parts of the new freighter minis in new combinations. The more cargo pods, the merrier...

It occurs to me that you could take a diamond-class freighter and attach eight aux bars to it, two to each of the four sides, interlaced.

8 Aux Bars! Shocked

A Fralli pocket battleship!!

But only because with 8 aux bars, that would be one god-awful ugly ship.

The production molds for the freighters were ordered yesterday.

In theory we'll have them in a week; in practice we'll have them when the mold company calls and says they are ready.

The first production copies of the new freighter minis arrived at ADB today and the word is that they should be on their shopping cart Monday.

The new freighters are now available for sale on ADB's web-store!

Large Freighter - The new version of the classic 2-pod mini, with enhanced detail and provisions to use the new modular parts.
Jumbo Freighter - The brand new 3-pod mini.
Heavy Freighter - The brand new 4-pod mini.
One-Pod Belly Pack - The part that turns the large freighter into the jumbo/3-pod mini, but with 30 seconds with a file it can be used to kitbash all kind of "more pods" combinations.
Two Pod Belly Pack - The part that turns the large freighter into the heavy/4-pod mini, but with 30 seconds with a file it can be used to kitbash all kind of "even more pods" combinations.
Auxiliary Weapons Bars - The "yokes" that turn a lowly freighter into an armed auxiliary cruiser (or WYN pocket battleship!)
