Why is the Fed CB called a CB and not a CCH? I looked in the Fed MSSB under R2.76 and there is no mention of the rationale for the designation. Is it perhaps because the ship is somewhere between a CA and a BC in firepower? |

Yes, it is between a CC and a BCH. The USS Alaska built during WW2 was officially a CB not a BC. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
