|
|
I've been going through the rules from all the Federation Commander products to assemble a sort of custom master rulebook for my own reference. I've noticed that I seem to be missing two sections. They are: 5R (5Q is Hydran Stingers and 5S is Special Sensors) and 6C (6B is Asteroids and 6D is WYN Radiation Zone). Now I have every product *except* Battleships Attack (which I plan to order soon). Are the missing sections (5R and 6C) in Battleships Attack, or are they yet to be published? Thanks a lot,

iirc, Battleships Attack! only has the Asteroid rules (again, since it has asteroid map panels) and the clarification on how die roll modifiers work. So I don't think the missing rules sections are there.
I'd have to look through my stuff to see if I could figure it out.
The only thing that comes to mind for 6C is that it might be meant to cover gas giant planets (in which case it got left out, since it would have presumeably been in Distant Kingdoms, with the gas giant map panels). But I'd have to double check and see if the rules for that planet type are included in the same section as the single hex planet rules (6A I assume?). |

There is no (5R). Yet, anyway.
(6C) is Comets. I think it is in Battleships.
(5X) is Degraded Crew. _________________

Yeah, that's in Battleships. That's where the counters are. I wouldn't have thought it had its own rules section, though, given that it's essentially the asteroid rules in an extremely localized form on the map board. |

And (5E4) was inadvertently left blank, right? |

I didn't realize there wasn't a small comet in BA! Guess you could just use a small asteriod and use upside down counters for the tail. _________________ Speed is life; Patience is victory

I never realized there was no (5E4)! But, you are correct, there is no (5E4). It is most likely a numbering mixup, but is harmless.
There is only large counter comet counters because they had the extra counter slots on the large counters, but none with the small counters. _________________

Why didn't they put the counters for the extra normal dreadnaughts included in the boosters? |

No, they aren't. The boosters include an extra Fed, Klingon, Kzinti, Gorn, Romulan, and Tholian DN, and a Tholian NDN. The DNH and DNL's are inclued, but the DN's and NDN are not. |

He means duplicate counters for the duplicate dreadnoughts in the BA boosters. Since those boosters weren't planned when the Attacks products came out, the Attacks products wouldn't contain duplicate counters to match the cards in those boosters.
Form Line of Battle might have the extra dreadnought counters, but I don't remember exactly what was on the countersheet.
Edit: Actually, I'm not entirely certain that Form Line of Battle even had a countersheet. |
