Ah, yes, it was likely because of skips. My bad. I'll blame it on the game still going on at 1:00 AM in the morning. _________________ Jim Dauphinais, Chesterfield, MO

Hi guys
I have some problems with the client.
1st I didn't see all the SSD of my opponent, only one.
2nd in the main screen, when I clic another tab, like FIRE, it don't works, I have to close main and reopen it and my last clic is taken into effect, I have to do that every tab change.
Fire has work for my firste fire of the game, but after that it wont work anymore, some drones that have been destroyed are still in the scroll list, and I cannot clic any weapon to fire.
My client is up to date, do you know what I have to do ?
If you want the save, I can send it
thanks |

Hi, Brazouck. The best thing I could suggest is to meet you on-line sometime and help walk you through a turn or two of using the FCOL client. Be sure that both the client itself is up to date (I believe you said it was), as well as the FC ship library. Having an outdated library is one possibility for not being able to see all the ship cards.
For using the Fire feature, be sure to have a valid target selected and that the weapon you want to fire is armed and ready. I think there are a few tutorial videos on the FCOL website that might help.
Send me a PM and let me know if you want to meet on-line sometime,
Garrett |

My opponent wanted to HET and clicked the checkbox.
But he forgot to unclick it and the client continued charging him for a HET the other 2 moves. At the end of the pulse, he found he had no energy for weapons.
We had to manually figure out his power for the turn. |

My game with Eric showed up a few Bugs.
The Frax CW has center hull that does not seem to always regsiter as F or R Hull, which results in the DAC hitting a lot of alternative damage systems instead.
The Hydran Mongol does not seem to register the stinger shuttle boxes as shuttles, asking if I want to take frame instead of my last shuttle when I have plenty left.
Tractors seem a bit odd working out speeds. |

The Frax ship is now fixed.
The Mongol issue is due to the boxes being marked as Fighter boxes. I have fixed the hit type for the Fighter boxes to be Shuttle. This will be in the next update.
The issue with Tractor beams and calculated speeds is a known is and needs to be worked on.
Eric,
I will look into automatically reseting the checkbox for HETting. |

Oh - and the annoying move cost error on the Hydran DWH still exists - requiring constant energy adjustments as so much is based off this. |

I found another issue with a ship def:
The Lyran CL (squadron scale) has an incorrect movement cost. It is (incorrectly) .66 in the FCOL client, but it should be .75 (3/4). Thanks,

I have changed the client to automatically reset the HET checkbox after use. It will be available with the next update. |

Move cost should be 0.5 not 0.666 |
