				|
 |
				| This is more a question for Mike West [he converted the scenario for FC], but it may well spark some discussions...
In the Briefing #1 scenario Refiner's Fire, the Romulan ships operate normally. However, in the original Captain's Log #2 scenario, and in Communique #7, they had their Cloaking Devices disabled.

 Is this intentional? Just wondering....

				| Yes, this is intentional.
I had the "no cloak" special rule in the original edition, but it was removed during editing.

				| Fair enough, thanks. Was there a reason for not having that special rule in? It could have been left in as a play balance idea, perhaps. _________________

				| Honestly, I don't know. It may just have been to keep the Romulan ships as standard Romulan ships. _________________

				| The scenario designer's guide said that players get ticked if there's no reason for cloaking devices being disabled. Mabey that's the reason. | |

				| Aye, could be. Also, it doesn't really matter as the Roms are unlikely to need to cloak anyway, given that they are three-on-two. Still they may have wanted the option.
Also the cloak in SFB was a little more effective than in FedCom, IIRC.

				| Good point. Don't get it - sorry!
Still, I've just got in from work so I have yet to reboot my sense of humour anyway....

In that scenario, the lexigton can use a drone as a frigate until it takes 21 damage. There are drone frigates in SFB, that have drones. This is a frigate that IS a drone.

				| The scenario is enough of a pain in the butt already; there's no need to make it harder for the Combine side. | |
