Ahhh... the good old days.
When Klingons were Klingons, men we're men, and oCL's were state-of-the-art.
Great job as always Adam.
Love the extra details you snuck into the oCL's. The "STA" marks on the hull are cool, as are the spiffy retro nacelle caps. _________________

Ah...
...makes me think of the day I'd love to see, with CLs and POLs (as Republic FFs) in Auroran schemes, and a Trobrin warship or few trading fire with them!
A man can dream, I guess. _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Ouch!
Great action sequence.
Nice effect on the photons and disruptors/phasers too! _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

I love the Drawing, but you'd think that 2 fed ships (though a bit weaker alone) Coulde have inflicted more damage on the klink by now.
Well, I'll hope those Photons were overloaded. |

It looks to me as if the Fed CL in the background is firing at a different Klingon ship that would be to the right of the view shown in the picture. Trace out the trajectories of the Fed CL, the direction its pointing, and those of the photons and you'll see what I mean. Perhaps that's why the Klingon ship hasn't taken much damage... |

Or it could still be near the start of the battle. Apart from the damage being inflicted at the instant portrayed in the picture, the Fed ships don't look shot up either. Maybe this is the opening slavo, or at least the first internal damage from the battle? |

Kind of makes you want to check out it's firing arc. Might want to push the rear Fed CL back a little to bring it's full Forward Arc to bear on the #3 shield of the Klingon cruiser otherwise those photons are sixes! The Fed CL is hurting for photons anyway and at a two turn arming rate those Klingon disruptors can be pretty nasty. |
