Hi All,

There will be a Federation Commander Tournament held in Cincinnati on Saturday, Feb 28, 2009.

We will be playing at Yottaquest. The tournament will start in the morning at about 0900 (9 am for you non military types), and we will play at least 3 rounds, possibly 4. This will be a one day event. More Details to Follow, but please spread the word to anyone who may be interested.

ANNOUNCING THE FIRST CINCINNATI

FEDERATION COMMANDER TOURNAMENT


Come join the fun and test you skills at starship combat. Command starships of the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Empire or one of the many other Empires of the Starfleet Universe.


Pick Your Fleet and join the fight

Pick an Empire to fly, all ships must be from the same empire. Pick 3 or 4 SQUADRON scale ships with a total point cost between 425 and 450 points. You may only have a maximum of 1 dreadnought and/or one heavy battlecruiser in your fleet (though you are not required to have any). You may not have more than 2 of the same type of ship in your fleet. No battleships may be used.

Each player must bring his/her own ship cards, maps and counters/miniatures. Ships used must be published laminated cards. Bring your fleet on Saturday morning for the competition. Sign up will be at 9am. We will play 3 rounds, 10:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 5:00 pm, finishing by 9:00 pm. First place will be determined by most wins. Ties will be broken by those who scored the most points during their battles. Complete tournament rules are at www.starfleetgames.com/discus/
