Space monsters/unique threats like the space Ameoba, Juggernaunt, Doomsday Machine are one of the best aspects of FedCom.

But upon seeing the card for Large Space Dragon in Romulan Border, I didn't see any reference to it.

What's the story behind it? How does it play out in game? Is it harder to destroy than a Juggernaunt ?

It looks like something out of a Godzilla movie.

Just wait until you find out what some bunch of reptiles are doing with them out in Omega!

Oh speaking of Omega, ISC is on the border of them.

When will the ISC be featured in a FedCom expansion? I thought they were in Distant Kingdoms but they weren't.

The ISC could not be in Distant Kingdoms, as they are on the other side of the map (so to speak). The ISC will be introduced in War & Peace, along with (most likely) the Vudar and Andromedans. (Which, of course, destroys the whole "wrong side of the map" argument. Wink )

Also, if you want to see the ISC, they have two ships that were in Communique. Other ships have been presented in Captain's Log. The current PPD rules are posted in this thread. A discussion of possible changes to those rules are over in this thread.

For the Dragon story, look under the Space dragon scenario in the romulan border booklet.

Thanks, Pinecone.
All I need is another reason to buy Romulan Border...

Or Romulan Space I suppose, although another set of map panels would be useful, and a second rulebook is always handy, and a nice box to keep it all in, and...

And for an insight on how to see the universe from a Space Dragon's perspective read "A Dragon's Story" fiction piece on Captain's Log #18.

Nobody here ever said the ISC would be in Distant Kingdoms. We always said that product was Lyran-Hydran-Wyn.

Also the ISC is not exactly bordering the Omega Sector. The is a Big Hazardous Blank Void between them that very almost no ships seem to make it through. Who knows maybe a entire nation of Space Monster live in there and eat most everything that comes through.

Or, perhaps, an ancient empire of soul draining dark matter energy beings flying crystalline warships and looking to consume all life in the gal-

-oh wait, I must be seeing butterflies again.
