Love the fighters. The bases look really great. And that station! _________________ "His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking."

Cool stuff! What do you use the dice to keep track of? Hits? _________________

Awesome minis and set-up. I hope you played that out (who won?)
I'm really hoping the new paint I got for my Kzintis looks right. I had a total "start-over" last summer. The color you used is much more the direction I want to go (I'll be trying a Humbrol hull-red, as soon as the weather allows airbrushing).
Those fighters look great. I recognize the stands, but can't place where you sourced them from. Brigade? _________________

I'm not Matt, but I think I can answer those questions:
The stands are from Brigade...
The dice are used to track the number of fighters in the hex, at least that's the way we use tehm. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Thanks guys.
No one won, I just decided it was time for a couple of pictures for fun.
Scoutdad is two for two on the answers. Since there are stacking rules and launching rules I use 2 for the number of fighters on the stand and for my plasma/drone stands it just depends.
The Kizinti are painted GW red gore.
Wolverin61 the station is scratch built out of the top of a plastic coke bottle, poker chip, sink nozel, hoze part(?), and wood for the docking ports/command pods.
Wedge, Hod'Kel and I are all working on our fighters. I am not sure what Hod'Kel is going to do without optional weapon mounts for his plasma Ds and drones though . |

That's a nice idea with the dice representing the number of fighters.
Another question for you: are the fighters scratch-built? _________________

Very nice work. I particularly like the fighters and the base. Seems more "in scale" with the ships. |
