For those of you who do and don't know about Starlist...it's a way to locate players near you to play. It is updated and new members are being added weekly so if you submitted a year or more ago (or even a month ago) and didn't have anyone close enough to you, you might want to re-submit or email me and I'll check the database for the updates. Just another way for you to play the game/s.
To sign up, go to our Legacy Site at www.StarfleetGames.com and scroll down to the bottom; you'll find a box that says, "Starlist," click it and sign up...it's forwarded to me and I'll send you what I've got in your area. |

Vanessa or SVC,
If you've already registered for Starlist and received an email over a year ago... how do you go about requesting a new one?
With the release of Federation Commander and the relative explosion in players, I'd like to think tha there are now more starlist subscribers in my area than there was over a year ago. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Thanks,
I didn't want to simply re-register w/o checking first. No reason to have multiple, repititious, and redundant entries if it's not necessary.

Just re-register. That way, the "last date we heard from you" date is moved forward to the current day. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Where is the Starlist link? I've looked at www.starfleetgames.com and cannot find a link for it. |

I don't really know how anyone could go to www.StarFleetGames.com and NOT find it.
1. Go here: http://www.starfleetgames.com/
Not seeing anything that says Starlist (there are a bazillion things in there and they won't ALL fit on the front page) you ...
2. click on the big red button that says SITE MAP INDEX (surely the most logical place to look for something you don't see) and end up here:
http://starfleetgames.com/sitemap.html
3. If you look down the center column you come to FIND OPPONENTS which goes straight to starlist. If that's not obvious enough, you could default to the TOTAL SITE ALPHABETICAL INDEX which, if you...
4. click the button, would take you to
http://www.starfleetgames.com/masterindex.shtml
and if you click on S on that row at the top...
5. you end up here (you could skip this part and just scroll down)
http://www.starfleetgames.com/masterindex.shtml#S
and then look down the alphabetical list and click on
6.Starlist opponent locator which takes you to
http://www.starfleetgames.com/starlist.shtml
Seriously, dudes, we spent a ton of time making that site map and index so that nobody could ever NOT find something. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Okay, I found how to get to the Starlist page after going through the Sitemap link.
I was referring to an earlier post by Vanessa in which she said that there was a Starlist link on the www.StarFleetGames.com page.
Perhaps the main page was updated since she made that post. There is not a link to the Starlist page on the main page now. |

Ah, that makes sense. Yes, the front page was updated a couple of weeks ago. It used to be about four screens and had a zillion buttons on it (half of which went to the wrong place and the other half of which were confusing as to where they did go). _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
