How many Shuttles can I launch in an impulse? If my ship has 2 shuttles can I launch 2 in one impulse? |

You can only launch one shuttle - and if you do so then you can't recover a shuttle that impulse. The only exception to this rule is the Hydran Stinger, which is assumed to have specialized launch tubes that will allow all of the Stingers onboard a ship to be launched simultaneously. Note that this doesn't mean that the Stingers can be recovered simultaneously, however... |

Yup, junior has it. You may launch OR recover a single shuttle on any given impulse.
The exception are Stinger fighters. Stinger fighters may all be launched in addition to the above limit. So, if you had four Stingers and two shuttles, you could launch all four Stingers AND launch (or recover) a shuttle.
Note, however, that this exception only applies to launching. So, even Stingers are recovered at the normal shuttle rate.
(For any other types of fighters in Borders of Madness, their rules will specify their launch rate. It will be faster than a normal shuttle, but will not be "all" like Stingers are.) _________________

How do you recover a shuttle? Never saw this in the rules. _________________ "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few"

Man, I don't have my rulebook with me either, so I'm going to do my best from memory. It is in the Reference Book, I believe under Landing or Docking. Look for those rules and then that part which talks about shuttles. The ship has to be moving no more than base speed 8, or something like that, 16 if it's a Stinger and you can recover 1 shuttle an impulse. I'll try to confirm this when I get back home tonight. |

It is in the DK rules and the Rev 5 rules (either the Rev 5 from Klingon/Romulan Border, or the Reference Rulebook). Failing all of that, you can use the CRUL, which is found at Commander's Circle. _________________
