Would you be able to tractor and move a mobile base or any of the larger bases? I haven't seen any particular rules on it and they don't have a movement cost of any sort. If you could I assume it would count as being a larger size than any of the ships?
Also on a separate note about bases, in communique 32 scenario [8CM21] klinks in the wire, the hydran battle station has six fighters on board under the special rules. The way my friends and I played was that those fighters took up the normal shuttle and drone slots, is this correct? The reason we did this is hydran's don't typically have drone weapons. Should we have left the drone racks? We weren't able to find any rules about hydran bases and whether or not those drone weapons change to something else. Is there any rules specifically about bases, I know the card has some rules on it, but not for all races.
Thanks. |

(5D3b) Tractors cannot move a base. If a ship tractors a base and the ship moves, the tractor will break. If the base tractors the ship, the ship cannot move until the tractor is broken by auction or released. _________________ Mike

It doesn't keep it's drone launchers, but I don't know what replaces them (if anything)
Might want to check and make sure it has all the hellbores and fusions it's supposed to have. _________________ Speed is life; Patience is victory

This was a prior "ruling". Hydran Battle Stations use the same weapons rules as the Base Stations. So, "WPN" boxes are hellbores, and "Drones" boxes are replaced by Stingers.
(Lyrans Battle Stations also follow the model as the Base Station. The "WPN" boxes are disruptors, and "Drone" boxes are replaced by ESGs.) _________________
