We know that the Andromedans can use their TR beams as normal tractor beams. And the Conquistador, indeed, has no tractors, just TR beams.
However, does anyone know if all Andromedan ships have to use their TR beams as 'secondary' Tractors, or do some ships have both TRs and Tractors?
My SFB SSDs are all packed away at present, so I can't just go and look....
And is this a play balance thing? To somewhat mitigate the nearly Phaser-4 firepower of these beasts? _________________

In C2 at least, some ships have one (and only one) TRAC box, such as the Intruder and Dominator, while others like the Conquistador have none.
Speaking of tractor tricks, another fleet has a not-too-dissimilar issue to handle. The Bolosco have two unique tractor systems - one more tailored to offensive fire, the other a more multi-faceted system - but the extra tricks that one can use can't be shared by the other.
But then, that's not something I suspect the space-blobs should mind overly much... _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)
