This is a question for players, not for company affiliated people.
Do people actually use this? How do you bind it? Did the spiro-bound thingy work okay, or was it quietly retired for a reason...?
I just see these pages getting all ripped up and mussed around....
(I see that the latest version is completely up-to-date. Nice.)
I want to hear from the people that actually lug these things around to play games with them! |

I just ordered the three hole punched version, slipped the cover page into a binder with a clear title page cover, and put the rest in the binder. Works fine, although it is a touch unwieldy. If I were actually going to bind it, I would probably split it into two or more separate 'books'. |

I have mine three hole punched and in a three ring binder.
Back in the late 80's when I bought the Captain's edition, it came with neat SFB stickers that I used to decorate the binder. I'm not sure if the stickers are still available.
When I recently got back to playing SFB/FC, the first things I bought were the SFB Master rulebook and the FC rules compilation/supplements.
I dont find the two inch binder unweildy. I have tabs to separate each section. |

I lug both my Captians Edition and the Doomsday around each in its own seperate 3 inch 3 Ring Binder. Never noticed it being un wieldy and I also have Tabs Seperating each Section.
But note I usually only bring a Captian's Basic Rulebook in to the initial meets the Shadow from the Doomsday tends to scare people who are not ready for it. _________________ -Dal

That's me!!! I'm a SFB/FC player... not someone affiliated with the company.

1) Yes. The MRB is an incredible convience.
2) The keep at home one is in sheet protectors in a three ring binder along with a set of the Doomsday tabbed dividers. The three travel versions were spiral bound at Kinkos + plus mine has a set of the Doomsday dividers bound in with the pages... well, it's FedEx Office now... My oldest son has his in the spriral binding it came in and my youngest son has his three hole punched and in a binder.
And yes... we do actually have six MRB's in our household , I guess that makes us uber-Geeks
3) That would be a question for someone affiliated with the company...

Again... that would be me. My MRB goes to every game I go to! _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

I am affiliated with the company.
I don't use the master rulebook. I just use the intercom, channel #3: "Hey, Petrick, can WYN option mounts use hellbores?" He answers pretty quickly (usually without looking it up), unless he's in the bathroom or something.
We haven't had the stickers in 18 years. Somebody send me an Email reminding me to look into having some made. Those things were pretty cool. I need to get a whole sheet of stickers made, some of which would be used for this purpose or that purpose. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

I still have the Bumper Stickers from Captain's Log 10 (I think). Those were pretty fun. |

Did those bumper stickers actually have adhesive?
If not, those might be good to make as well. I wouldnt mind having one on my car.
And if the stickers will be made again, adding stickers for the symbols for the different races would be cool. |

There's some bumper stickers on the Cafe Press site I think. Not the same ones though. _________________ "His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking."

Granted these are almost 20 years old for me.
Stickers like this and some similar but for FC would be nice. |
