What would be cool would be a list of all existing FC scenarios that included:
1. The empires involved
2. The number of ships/players
3. The background paragraph to explain what the scenario was about
This could be a project that someone outside of ADB's staff could do so it wouldn't take much time for ADB to check and crank out on Commander's Circle in the Resources area. For that matter, two or three could collaborate on it because one person may not have access to all the existing scenarios. It could be submitted as a text file to ADB upon completion (and after Origins). _________________ Mike

Mike, it is a LOT of work. You wouldn't believe how time intensive it is to check. I did that for Briefing #1.
I'd love to kidnap the layout Steven Petrick has for his SFB scenario spreadsheet. Useful data could be retrieved.
Before ANYONE starts a project like this, check with SVC (after July 5) and make sure you are not re-creating the wheel. |

Checking takes time, probably about as much time as doing the original would... And the empires usually don't matter much since you can pretty much adapt most scenarios to use any Empires.
Briefing #1 has a indexes of scenarios complete as at the publication of B#1, organised by various criteria including number of players. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

My mind must be going! I KNEW that database info was at Communique and the older version in Briefing #1. And it is even more inclusive than what I was suggesting!
Sorry. Forgive me. I beg a thousand pardons. Forget I ever brought this up! _________________ Mike

Well, if my brain malfunction results in an update after Origins, maybe it will have all turned out fine.

It's on the flap list to update that, so it would have gotten done anyway, but the flap list is going to have to wait until I get back. We leave in 3 days and 6 hours, and almost nothing is done to get ready for the show. We won't even start getting ready until the books start printing in a few hours.
FLAP = Finish Like A Professional, a list of things we do at the end of each product, like updating indexes, the scenario list, the MSC, the gazetteer, and so forth. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
