If a badly damaged ship suffers a HET breakdown, and has 'skips' in the damage process on Table #3 due to disabled systems, do we continue on with another 'pass' on Table #3?

For example, if the ship has no Tractors, Labs, Center Warp or Transporters, what happens to the two 'spare' damage points? Start again on Table #3?

That's how I'd play it. Just keep going on #3 until all the damage is resolved... which, in extreme cases, could result in the ship blowing up...

i.e. warp core breach...

I would assume it's 10 dmg like any other 10 dmg and keep rolling new lines.

The HET rules specify line #3.

We "skip" the skips and restart on column one until 10 points are resolved.

I guess in a dire circumstance, it may result in a ship going Ka-blooey, but if you've already got that much damage... you're probably not doing a HET anyway.

Keep going through the row like you would normally. The repeat the row again and again until all damage is resolved. Assuming that there are no other boxes to hit, you will keep hitting warp or frame damage on the 10th column until you blow up.
