I know this is going to take up space on the fourm, so the Mod may delete it after I get an answer if need be.
From CL 39, Was Captian Dunn of the Arbela relieved of command after his miserable failure against the Kagan? Or was he given a merit for bravery and cunning? It could be seen as either in the eyes of an admiral who was not relly at the battle. And also, he had armed tractors for drone defnse, but since no drones appeared why did he not use it to anchor the DX and keep it from escaping?
Thanks |

We don't know the answers to those questions. Only part of the Air Force tapes have been decoded and translated. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Well, my thinking on why he didn't anchor the Klingon ship is that he may have been concerned that the Klingon was holding back drones. If Arbela anchored the Klingon, the Klink may have launched X-drones into his ship and done significant damage. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

Huh, Air Force tapes? What?

He obviously wasn't concerned about the condition of his ship anyway, juding by what he did. |

Pinecone, part of the "backstory" of ADB is that a bunch of Air Force tapes were found and they had information on them. (This was waaaaay back when and information was stored in all sorts of odd media that folks who are younger than 40 may not even recognize -- people gave computers programming commands on key-punched data cards, for example). That is why I wrote about "The Roche Files" and how I discovered more notes about her trivideos.
All of the tapes have not been translated yet, so that is how we keep finding new ships, more history, and (now that I'm here) more social history.
Got it? Remember this is a deep dark secret, only told to our most loyal of fans. If asked, you know nothing, absolutely nothing ...

You got it Jean Thanks!
But honestly, that's kind of scary maybe I'll be on a starship one of these days .

Oh, I love that episode. The part where they beam up the guard guy is so hilarious! |
