| We have only played convoy attack/defense scenarios a few times so far, but our general consensus is that freighters are to fast! Even though they can not plot a base line speed of 24, they can go that fast for a turn and a half if they use up their battery power; considerably faster than their SFB counterparts which can only go 12 hexes a turn. That has been more than enough to stay far enough away from an enemy who then has to deal with any escort. Does the base line speed 24 not possible note on the card also mean that they can not accelerate to that speed? |

It is not meant to limit accelerations.
Perhaps they should have been limited to base speed 8 or less. But right now, they are limited to base speed 16 or less, but accelerations are not limited.
