I will now be moderated pbem game FC0003. this will be a two-versus-two, Federation versus Klingon squadron scale battle.
Buchenal will command the Federaion Heavy Cruiser "USS Gergovie" and the Frigate "USS Jacques Cœur"
Storeylf will command the Klingon D7 "IKS Titus Andronicus " and the F5 "IKS Coriolanus "
the battle will be fought on a fixed map (42 x 30 hexes).
As is only appropos, the Federation forces will start in (or within 2 hexes of) hex 1701.
The Klingon forces will there fore start in (or within 2 hexes of) hex 2630.
Heading will be at the discretion of the individual commanders.
Please provide me with starting postions via email ASAP.
Once I have both forces starting positions, I'll post them here and Turn 1 EAs will be due within 48 hours. Sound fair? _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

CA spends 8 energy tokens for baseline speed 8
CA spends 8 energy tokens to complete arming of 4 photon torpedoes
power remaining: 20 energy tokens
Federation FF: USS Jacques Coeur
Total power available: 16 (minus batteries which were expended to prearm 2 photons)
FF pays 2 energy tokens for baseline speed 8
FF pays 4 energy tokens to complete arming of 2 photon torpedoes
Power remaining: 10
Klingon D7: IKS No Name
Total power: 42 energy tokens
D7 pays 24 energy tokens for Baseline speed 24
Total power remaining: 18 energy tokens
Klingon F5: IKS No Name II
Total power: 22 energy tokens
F5 pays 12 energy tokens for baseline speed 24

Well I've never been good at ships names, but every one else is giving their ships names so...
D7 - IKS Titus Andronicus
F5 - IKS Coriolanus
The untranslated klingon names would obviously be better , but I'm no scholar of klingonese. |

Turn 1, impulse 5 completed.
the Klingons ended Imp5 15 hexes from the FF and on an oblique approach.
Both the D7 and the F5 fired full salvos at the FF. Two voleys of 10 and 11 points scored on the #1 shield.
The FF reinforced 2 points from each volley, leaving itself with 17 shield damage and two burn through points (Right Warp and Lab).
Turn 1, Impulse 6 through 8 orders due by Saturday.

Well, after a long delay due to work / RL issues:
Turn 1 End of turn is completed:
The Klingons performed no End of Turn Activities.
