Revised GURPS Klingons Now Available!

Newly revised in 2021, GURPS Klingons is the sourcebook for the GURPS Prime Directive's Empire of Steel. The Klingon Empire is the most dangerous enemy faced by the Federation, and yet the Klingons don't think of the Federation as their primary threat, except economically. In this book, you will find out even more about the empire and the people who inhabit it!

More about the history of the Klingons! Find out how Kahless conquered the planet. Discover what is known about the Old Kings who took the Klingons into space, then mysteriously vanished, stranding the Klingons on their homeworld. Read how the Klingons returned to the stars and became an empire to be respected and feared.

More about the Klingons! Find out more about the Klingons themselves including their biology, culture, military, government, emperors, religions, economics, legal systems, and colonized planets. Discover what options are open for education in the Klingon Empire with templates for the various military academies and training programs. Included is more information about the Imperial Paladins, military nobility, and various intelligence and police agencies. In this revision, more information has been included in the templates, including new skills.

More about the Klingon's subject races! Discover strange planets with the complete planetary survey, including not only geological information, but information on the species inhabiting them. Many of the species have become subject races of the Klingons. Some are more along the lines of client states or mercenaries. In all cases, the information has been updated to be in line with the information in the revised GURPS Prime Directive. In particular, the Bargantines have been completely rewritten.

More about the starships! Still based on the 3rd edition of GURPS, this provides more information about the starships from the tiny G2 police corvette to the mighty B10 battleship. The deckplans for the G1 gunboat (fast patrol ships) are included, as are the officers typically found on a Klingon battlecruiser.

More about the Romulan's suppressed races! Discover strange planets with the complete planetary survey, including geological information and information on the species inhabiting them. The ancient species of the Sath'hi are empathic pacifists and a protectorate of the Romulans. The Gerlunians and their nation-states are under secret observation by the Romulans. Saying the Dionaeans are "less than friendly" toward Romulans on their planet is an understatement. In all cases, the information has been updated to be in line with the information in the revised GURPS Prime Directive. In particular, the Dionaeans' advantages and disadvantages that are not in the core GURPS Prime Directive rulebook have been added.

I have to say that updating this 15 year old book was a lesson in humility for me. I was shocked to see how many mis-spelled words, crazy Capitalization, and other mistakes were in it. But it's much better now. Jean is a genius at this RPG stuff.
