I played some SFB back in the day (well before FC came along) and liked the SF universe, but didn't particularly like SFB. I recently found the Starmada conversions and really like them as a fast playing approach to the SF universe.

That said, I'd like to see the Plasma torps in RA play more like what I remember from my old SFB games - seekers to be feared - so I'm tinkering with some alternate stat lines for them.

What I need to know are what are the speeds of plasma torpedoes in FC?

Plasma travel at the maximum speed allowed in FC. It travels four hexes in an FC impulse, and 32 hexes across a turn in FC. _________________

And that is the same for all plasma torps, correct? So an R torp and an F-torp travel the same speed, but an F torp just doesn't travel as far... |

Yes, all plasma torpedoes (currently) have the same speed - 32 (i.e. they move once per movement sub-pulse, and thus four times per impulse). _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS
