Well, to start off this is my first posting on this forum. I played SFB back in high school almost 20 years ago which I forgot most of the rules. So when I found FC a few months ago it pulled me completely away from all other games. Glad to be back in the SF universe.

Now to my question. I was playing a three way battle in fleet scale between a Fed Battlecruiser, a Klingon C7 and my two Gorn Destroyers. The Fed and the Klingon were duking it out for two turns while I waited for my plasma to arm. So on the third turn the heavly damaged Fed was come right at me with no shields at all trying to out run two drones one hex away. Upon getting one hex away myself I hit him with two plasma Fs thus blowing up the Fed.

So, what happens to the drones? Can the the Klingon (which was within the 25 hex range and only having those two drones on the map) declare to retarget my vessels with those drones or do the drones get removed from the map?

We played it that the drone controller retargeted the drones, but the were shot down by my phaser so no harm no foul.

Well, uh, crap. There is no rule for that (unless someone else can point it out). Well, better send *that* one in ...

Anyway, when a ship (or other target of seeking weapons) is destroyed, all seeking weapons that were tracking that target are immediately removed from play. They cannot switch targets; they can only have a single target.

That works for me. Thank you for the quick response to my question. All of us in our group is new to the game so I have been reading every page of the rules questions to get a better understanding of the game. I do want to extend my kudos to the people that made FC. Wonderful game system and a blast to play. Most fun I have for awhile.
