I have seen this done, but I am not sure it is legal. The question I have is:
Can someone that has no damage to any shields pay energy in a turn to repair shields in anticipation (or the the remote possibility) of taking damage? Paying for shield repairs happens at the beginning of the turn during energy allocation so would that imply that you are repairing shields damaged during previous turns, not "might happen" in the current turn? |

No. You have to have damaged shields to repair them.
(3C7) says you pay to removed disabled marks from the shield box. So without marks, you can't repair them.
Sounds like an attempt to get back to shield "bricking" in SFB. _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

The giant robot is completely correct. You may only repair disabled shield boxes. You may not "pre-repair" or preallocate repair energy. (Or repair points, either.) _________________
