Scoutdad and terryoc are ready to go, so now begins FC0021: Frigate Wars!
The requests for starting positions and turn 1 EAs have been sent to the ship captains.
Scoutdad will be starting at 0328 or within two hexes of that hex and is commanding a Lyran MP.
terryoc will be starting at hex 4003 or within two hexes of that hex and is commanding a Frax FF. |

Turn 1 EA & SOP emailed to Blammo.
I'm starting in 3804E and baseline speed is 24. Wanting to get to engagement range
Looks interesting. The Frax wants to sabre-dance while ideally the MP would like to come in close for an ESG ram, which could by itself take down a shield on my ship while the disruptors and phasers do nasty internal damage. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

That's funny.
The email I received gave me a startign hex of 4003 +/1 2 hexes.
That starts us in range for an ESG ram...
I'm revising my start now to comply with Roberts forum posting rather than the email announcement... _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Energy Allocations:
Scoutdad:
Lyran MP "LPS Garfield"
Location/Facing: 0328B
Base Energy: 25 Energy (23 Generated, 2 Battery)
Base Speed: 24 (12 Energy)
Expends 3 energy to complete powering of ESG Z
Remaining Energy: 10
terryoc:
Frax FF (Frigate)
Location/Facing: 3804E
Base Energy: 18 Energy (16 Generated, 2 Battery)
Base Speed: 24 (6 Energy)
Remaining Energy: 12
NOTE: I noticed an error on the FRAX FF ship card. It shows the move cost for speed 24 is 8. Not sure if this was every reported before.
Sorry about the starting position errors. I will endeavor to eliminate those from happening |

Right, will get to that right after I get back from class.
(Blast! The diabolical Lyran's clever maneuver has kept him out of my disruptor arcs!!) _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue
