|
|
LTLFTP (Long-time lurker, first-time poster)
According to the 5E ruleset, a drone does 75% damage to a fading in/ out ship, and 50% damage to a fully cloaked ship.
I'm having trouble reconciling the fact that a fully-cloaked ship takes more damage than a fading in/ out ship (I would have though that if anything, it would be the other way around). Any ideas on the rationale for this particular rule? |

The fully cloaked ship does not take more damage than a fading vessel. It takes less damage.
A fading in/out vessel takes 75% damage, as you noted.
A drone normally does 12 points of damage. 12 * .75 = 9 points of damage.
A fully cloaked vessel takes 50% damage, as you noted.
A drone normally does 12 points of damage. 12 * .50 = 6 points of damage.
Or do I not understand your question? |
