My best-friend is a metalhead bassist "trapped" in his wife's folk band (he' s fine with it, but would love to get to play something heavier, at some point).
I play arabic hand drums and dj bellydance shows, but I was a punk rock and new wave kit drummer for 20 years before that. _________________

This is the weirdest sentence I have ever read on these forums...
Thank you. |

That sentence makes your brain do a double take,as it tries to conjure up the correct image. _________________ Federal Republic of Aurora fleet builder.

I've been putting most of my "SFU time" into reviews/comments on the SL2500 computer model images, but I did pick up and show off one of my metal E-4 minis to a friend, last night. That counts as minis-time, right? _________________

I don't know. An E4 is very much metal. I think for that to count as minis time you need to handle it more than once.
Now, had it been a C8 or a Dominator or a Juggernaut; then such a short time spent in physical contact with the minature itself would certainly have qualified as "minis-time" _________________

I got no lead or pewter dust on me, so yeah... probably doesn't count. _________________

I almost felt that way working with the new ST2500 CA.
It was clean enough to not need much in the way of filling / sanding. And what there was generated a fine white powder [ ] instead of lead or pewter dust.
Resin is going to be hard to get used to. But after seeing the CA up closeand personal - I'll make the effort. _________________

| As long as it's metal, I'm on board! \m/ None the less, I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on a few of those 2500's! |

I'm sure Tony knows this already...
WHEN WORKING WITH RESIN, WEAR A DUST MASK!! You don't want that crud in your lungs. It isn't poisonous or anything like that, but dust will irritate the sensitive membranes of the lungs and could give you problems. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

D'Uh!
Yes. If planning to do anything that will generate resin dust, I do wear a particulate filter. _________________
