Very cool Orion pirtates. The flames are amazing. I can picture the pirates with leather jackets and switchblades.

@ Bill

Like I said on the BBS, nice alternate take on the Kzinti! Cool Cool Cool Cool

And those F5W's just pop with that bare metal scheme you use for the war classes. Excellent! Cool Cool Cool Cool

@ Tony

Ok, those Orions are just beautiful. And this from someone who prefers his Orions to be straight black! Nicely done, they show off the SL2500 Orions brilliantly! Cool Cool Cool Cool

Looking good, Bill,

Having just purchased a Gorn Fleet box myself, I am planning on a similar black base coat, followed up up with heavy drybrush layers of a dark metallic color (think GW Gunbolt metal) with a lighter silver drybrush followed bby detailing.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I had wanted to do some sort of black metallic color for the Gorn, but wasn't able to devise a scheme that was satisfactory. So I had to settle for dull black.

Finished 2 more Orions last night:
OPrion Pirate Salvage Cruiser - OPC No Refund:

And the Light Raider - OPR Shades of Grey.
unfortunately, I didn't get a decent solo shot of it, but here's the whole Squadron:

My first couple of Klingons from the 2500 line. A D7 and an F5

I went with German uniform feldgrau for the grey-green on mine. Kept reasonably close to the guides on much of the rest. I'm definitely liking the look and cannot wait to get this box and my Feds done so I can have a game using these guys

Very nice work and that is a great colour scheme. The panel joints, the crevices or cracks--I don't know what to call them--seem to be a darker colour. Is that just an effect of the light?
In any case, it gives the ship a weathered, dusty, dirty kind of look. Very cool.
