I'll have to get some pictures at some point with a decent backdrop and lighting... as opposed to a page out of "Gunline" and a desk lamp _________________ The Rowan

I have really got to build a better light box; with flash it's all washed out, and without it's a little dark. |
Here's the same ships with Tony's decals.
And:
I also have an announcement. Due to people on the Mongoose forum asking about base stickers for the small 30mm Mongoose stands, I will be offering those for sale as well.
I have the prototype small base (30mm) stickers. I am putting up a couple pics to whet your appetite and to better judge how many people want so I can order an appropriate amount. I will make an significant size order to keep the price I pay per sticker close to what it is for the large stickers. It's a small gamble, but you guys haven't let me down yet.
Pricing will be $.85 USD each. I will have a better idea of shipping cost once I have a bunch on hand and can weight them with an envelope.
I am ordering some small bases from Mongoose now that I know the project is doable and should sell decently. I'll post more pics once I have actual production stickers on hand, and will show them mounted on some bases.
The central hole is the same size; it doesn't look like it in the pics, but once you have the stickers in front of you, it's apparent. It does remove a very small amount of the central black area, but I don't think it's significant.
Also, the regular large size stickers are back in stock and I am processing orders. If you haven't contacted me to arrange payment, now would be a good time.
***edit***
It's been brought to my attention by a customer that I ought to let everyone know that these stickers don't work well with ships that are glued to the stands. He had to cut a slit in the sticker to get it attached to the bases. I just wanted potential buyers to be aware that these stickers have a central hole and are made for bases using the standard ball on the base post and they are not meant for use on posts that are glued to the ship.
First time I've encountered someone gluing the stand to the ship.
***edit***
Here you go:
Shows how legible they are at a decent distance. They are very slightly more blurry than the regular ones due to the smaller size and the printer's equipment limitations. I will probably have to reduce their size one or two mm more (3/32nds approx), but need bases to measure first.

At long last,I've finally laid my hands on a Fed OCL and all I can say is WOW.
Now as you know,I like the Omega Sector setting and I instantly saw just where in the FRA fleet this ship would sit. She has still to have her insignia painted on though,I wish someone would do FRA decals, but here is the prototype version of mine plus what I think of as the production version of the FRA Battlecruiser.

Okay, I got some small bases in, so I was able to mount one of the prototype small stickers on the small base. I think I will reduce the size by 1/16" inch, and call it good.
I'm ready to order early next week, so anyone wanting any please give me a firm idea as to how many you want to purchase. $.85 each.

And the Republic makes its appearance among the 2500s at last!
Do you have any POLs and CRs you plan to paint up as FFs and the Throne respectively? _________________ FC Omega Conversion Project:

Given that semperatis has scratchbuilt an entire fleet of Auroran miniatures for himself (a process which you once helped out with, by sending him the nacelles needed to put the DN together), I would have thought asking about whether or not he had any further plans for other 2500-series minis may not have been an entirely impertinent follow-up to his most recent post... _________________ FC Omega Conversion Project:

Sorry, Gary
just meant as good fun.
That actually is a pretty good looking FRA cruiser. _________________

I took Tony's drinks reply as a complement Gary,as in 'cheers',for a job well done.
Sorry Gary, but there won't be any other 2500's in the Auroran fleet other than more OCL's,which verses the 2400 ships make excellent BC's size wise. _________________ Federal Republic of Aurora fleet builder.

Fair enough; and it sure is.

It's from a drinking game which was started over on the BBS; one shot for every post I made about a non-Alpha topic in a thread that wasn't related to something non-Alpha.
(I'm not the most popular person in the ADB fandom.)

Fair point; the POLs might be a bit big as FFs relative to those you have already, and ditto the new CR mini.
Are you planning on modifying the 2500 CLs to add in some of the BC's features (like the port and starboard shuttle bays) are are you gonna use them as-is? _________________ FC Omega Conversion Project:

I've still to paint in the small port/starboard shuttlebays, hence why there are no side on views. To be accurate,I should really add the trio of photon launchers to the bow of the ship, but I think it looks good as it is. _________________ Federal Republic of Aurora fleet builder.
