Thank you Will. I have to admit the Tenneshington decals help bring it to life. Great company...the decals provided by them also had a template that helped me size the pod. And they've caught a few of my errors on my next mod/task force project when I was ordering more decals...very silly mistakes on my part. |

Here are my Gorn. The base hull color was light gunmetal. I used an interior metallic blue, light red metallic, zinc chromate, green zinc chromate and regular green for details. I gave them a watercolor blackwash at the end.

Nice detail work. My inclination would be to not use such bright, contrasting colors for the trim stuff, but you make it look so good that I'm rethinking that stance. _________________

Excellent work! The D7 is simply beautiful and the conversion(?) on the Fed tug is very well done. _________________ Mike

Thank you.
And yes, it's a conversion from a CA. |

@ ingkent
Cool conversion on the Tug from a CA mini, Sir. And that D7 is awesome. Love it!
@ marcus_aurelius
Very nice work on those Gorn. I think that the green and yellow just makes them POP!
Plus I would never have thought to use watercolor for the wash. Ink, yes, not watercolor!

Thank you Mark.
The tug was a fun and frustrating conversion but I learned a lot from it.
Cheers,

Interesting variation on the normal dark grey, very eye catching! _________________ Mike

I love the decals too. I do a lot of 1/300 WWII air games as well, so have quite a bit of experience working with little decals and I have to say that the Tenneshingtin decals are some of the very best I've worked with. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words.
The decals are a team-effort.
Any praise for the materials, printing, sealing, and preparation/shipping go to Tony Thomas. I do the art (so-far), layouts, and website. It's worked out really well. _________________
