Reading the Andromedans there weakness in battles is they run out of energy if no one is shooting at them. Is there anything in the rules that would prevent the Andromedans firing on there own ships to help put energy in their Panels which than can be used to refill their batteries.
It appears that 1 point of energy used to fire on a friendly ship that is not being fired at by an enemy ship could put up to 5 or six points of energy at range zero.
I have read in this forum that a tactic for enemy ships not to shoot at the Andromedans until they run out of power and than close in for the kill.
Would this tactic be allowed by the rules to alleviate an enemy ship not shooting at your ships to replace power to batteries? |

As the rules stand no one can shoot at their own ships (3A3). |

Correct.
The andros are fine on power. Like all ships, they cannot do everything at once. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Edwinfeds,
Do not worry, I'll be charging those panels for you real soon. Think about overloaded ION cannons at range 2....lol..... |
