Having had this game for years but never really looking too closely at it, I recently purchased the updated F&E rule book, Combined Operations and Fighter Operations (which I think are great by the way). Whilst running through the rules, in the F&E Table of Contents it notes that rule (319) Offensive Fighter-PF Strikes is contained in Fighter Operations; it also states this in (501.81). However, (106) which is the introduction to Fighter Operations, does not contain this rule in the list of rules; after (106) the first rule is (437). I don't have (319) in my copy of Fighter Operations.
Am I missing something? Help!! _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |

Actualy, you do have the rule. It's kinda hard to find, being "in the wrong place" and stuck in an empty spot in another page. Look at the end of 602.49E and you'll find 319 and 443. Page 16.
When we do the new FO14 we'll have each chapter on its own page although that will mean you get to pay for a bunch of blank pages. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Thanks Mr Cole - tracked them both down.
For anyone who like me looked at F&E and thought I'm never going to have time to play this, the introductions of scenarios and sector games has made the game playable in a reasonable time scale. I'll certainly be trying it out in the new year, and if I'm very lucky, Santa Claus will bring me Advanced Operations as well! _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |
