Mark -
There is no need to post essentially the same thing in two different threads.
Whatever that pdf you found was, they pirated SVC's design and are using it without permission. ADB does not allow third parties to use their designs, art, etc., without a contract or other agreement. _________________

Was any of the Star Fleet Universe informed by the old Geoffrey Mandel publications, the way the D-6/7 was informed by the McMasters blueprints? I've always wondered why the Tholian PC is about 100 meters long when the ships seen in "The Tholian Web" are more like 20. (My first mistaken theory about the SFU was that Tholians were silicon, and about the size of 1990s pocket calculators.) I see the Space Cruiser Aurora, built from the model of the Tholian, is about 100 m long, and wonder if the PC was backfit from that. _________________ --

Well, incase any of you want to know this, but I have a pic of a full fledge Tholian from a few years ago. The Tholian in the pic looked a lot bigger then a 1990's pocket calculator. It stood 4 or 5 feet tall and actually had 6 legs instead of two or zero (some references indicated they had no legs, go figure). So in my opinion, I always thought the Tholian PC must have been 100 meters long. |

Kar'hammer appears to be one fan's name for the B-10 in his conglomeration of various Star Trek and Trek-like sources into a single history. Although he uses some of the SFB history of the ship, he bases its appearance on the Starfleet Command computer game ship.
(This fan is Richard E. Mandel, I don't know if he's any relation to the Geoffrey Mandel who, back around the time of the Animated Series and The Motion Picture, did schematic drawings of ships and shuttles from those sources.) _________________ --

Jack is correct.
I did some quick research when this thread first appeared.
It seems that Mr. Mandel did a fan-based version of the Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology - Klingon edition. In it, he attempted to consolidate SFU ships, FASA ships, TV/Movie ships into a single coherent history.
The only image he has of the Kar'Hammer looks suspiciously like the B-10.
Right down to the twin Warp Nacelles slung underneath the boom in a V-shape. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
