Great cover Adam!
It would be nice to see Omega stuff in Fed Cdr, but I don't expect that will be any time soon! Also, will we ever see the Andros? _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |

I wouldn't expect Andros this year, and next year would be an outside shot. 2009 would be likely. Loren Knight's Andro FC Rules work pretty well. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

I'm still hoping that the Andros will share space with the ISC in the 'War and Peace' module.
The two make ideal adversaries, in the same vein as the Tholian-Seltorian and Lyran-Hydran pairings in other FC supplements, and the presence of the Andros opens the door for the ISC to show off their more unique ship types (such as the System Cruisers, Destroyers and Frigates, and the Blockade Runner) which only came about in the face of the Andro onslaught.
And I would simply love an excuse for minis of the Peacemaker and Devastator to be made!
But then, I've been hoping for that from the outset...
Love the cover art, by the way!

While there are certainly good reasons for pairing the two races, I would hope that we don't need to wait until 2009 to get the ISC published.

Thanks guys! I, too, love the Andros, and I would be thrilled to see them in FC. (Especially since I always had trouble wrapping my head around many of the Andro rules in SFB.) Also, I agree with Nerroth's suggestion, I think the ISC and Andros are a good adversary pairing for a FC expansion. _________________ The innocent shall suffer...BIG TIME. |

*Sends a not-so-subtle hint to Adam to try an art piece showing a Dev take on the Peacemaker...*
Ahem.

I don't think I know what either the Peacemaker or Blockade Runner are (although I guess the first might be the ISC BB).
Any chance you could enlighten me Nerroth?
Adam - I am not in the least subtle. How about something big from the ISC whacking the tar out of something big from the Andros? _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |

Devastator = Andromedan battleship (note: terrifying!)
Peacemaker = ISC battleship (PPD-heavy, but a plasma variant would be quite useful in the Andromedan War.)
Blockade Runner = one of the unique ship types for the ISC in SFB Module R11, suggested by someone who got the idea from a similar craft used by the Vulpa in the Omega Octant...

Very nice cover art.
looks nice as someone who has not played/read any of the Omega products (But am kinda intrested, buy no SFB players near me) two quick questions.
1.) Who is fighting the Andros and do they actually stand much chance?
2.) Will the Omega stuff ever likely make it to FC?
Hopefuly not to much of a threadjack |
