I've been playing SFB since I've been...I think....14 years old. Turned 50 in December. On and off of course!
Played F&E too, which I love, a long time ago. But SFB has always been it for me, and now as a mainly miniature gamer, I've taken painting into SFB, which is a kid dream come true.
Anyway, enough about me. Looking forward to browsing all the things here... |

As a miniatures gamer, you might check our webstore to see what ships are available and then check Shapeways which has over a thousand print-on-demand ships including many never done in metal. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Thank you! I'm storing up for another metal mini purchase, and then if I can sucker my friends into going even deeper, will be investing in all those fun, esoteric ship designs that I will have to hunt down in Shapeways. I mean, I love metal but the detail in Shapeways is incredible!
And thanks for all the years of gaming fun! |

If you want a ship that doesn't exist then tell me and I'll mention it to the sculptors and Jean. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Okay thank you!
And I know you don't mean a 10 warp nacelle, 20 photon torpedo Federation magic ship !
Here in New Jersey, we're gaming out of a basement but we are dedicated kinds of people. We don't mind the counters one bit, but there really is nothing like watching the starships come to life with miniatures. |

Correct. I mean a ship already in the game (well, at least one of them) that needs a miniature. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Hi KelRiever, Been following a parallel path to you. Started playing in 1982, and off and on ever since. Finally started building miniature fleets a couple of years ago, starting with Lyran and Kzinti to go along with a General War campaign with a friend from my original group back int he day.
Long live SFB, and many thanks to Mr. Cole and his assistants and associates for what they've shared with us over all of these years. |
