There is a thread from 2016 below in which it is stated that there is little activity in FCOL. I just wanted to post to say that the situation has changed. Now is a great time to join FCOL! Finding fellow players is easy - just join these Facebook groups and post that you are looking for opponents:
Federation Commander (official group)
Star Fleet Battles Online - Federation Commander Online (fan group)
You will also find people there who will teach you the client and answer any questions you might have. |

I have sent Paul over 100 new ships for FCOL (not all of them are actively loaded yet) and continue to send him one ship a day. During June I probably won't send more due to my surgery and recovery period, but he has plenty to keep a steady trickle of new targets.

| 100+ ships? Great! Now I understand why Paul was looking for volunteers. I and at least one other person I know of are going to be helping him with the effort. |

| Yes, even more than when I made that original post! Both FCOL and SFBOL are quite active. |
