Hello Everyone,

Is there a Klingon destroyer scout that currently exists? Dal mentioned one exists in SFB so I was hoping there might be one in FC.

There is an F5S in Communique 77. It is rather underwhelming, but completely standard for the type. (Simple description: replace the two disruptors with special sensors and change the point value to 68. Done.)

To get something heavier, take the F6 found in Communique 23, replace the disruptors with special sensors (total four) and change the Point Value to 126 to get the F6S.

Oddly, there doesn't seem to be a scout version of the F5W, so the above two are probably your best bets.

After those, you're looking at the D5S, which can be found in Communique 32.

Hi Steve,

One of the guys I game with would like a Lyran carrier.

ISC frigate or ISC destroyer different types would be liked as well.

There is a Lyran carrier, the DWV, in Communique 188.

What do you mean by "different types" for the ISC FF and DD?

The ISC DD, DE, DDL, and DDS are all currently available in various locations (DE in Communique 87, DDL in CL46, DDS in Communique 81).

The ISC FF, on the other hand, currently only has the base version available. What are you looking for?

Hi MJWest,

I think a heavy destroyer and for the Frigate either Frigate Leader and/or Heavy Frigate. The ISC for small ships is very week in options.

Communique 188 was a typo in the table I was referencing. It should have been Communique 118. That one has the Lyran DWV.

It was printed in a run that started in Communique 114 and ran through about 128 where pretty much every DD/DW carrier was printed. There were a few skips for holiday ships, but I think pretty much every empire was hit.

Paul and Mike, sorry it took so long to get back to you guys.

After consulting the Klingons Master Starship Book. The Klingons designed but as of now have never built an F5WS but the conversion was same as an F5S, replace the Disruptors with Special Sensors and do not upgrade the RX Phaser -2s.

TBH the F6S is superior in a Destroyer Squadron.

If the F5WS only has two special sensors, it is garbage. So, there isn't any point for it to be made. Yes, just stick with the F6S.

In fact, this means that all F6 hulls probably should be made into scouts because the other ships in that size class suck so bad.
