I see.
Well, in any event, whether the engines remain as they are, match the Vincennes, or get a new design, could an Auroran edition of the ship in question be set up? _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Shouldn't the Federation DN have its nacelles 45'? rather than 90'?
Otherwise some great looking artwork. |

Actually Paul, the Flat Warp engines is the SFU Refit version of the Original DN so I think they are just fine they way they are. Just wish they loward the Engines on the CA to open up the rear Firing Arcs on it as well but you work with what you have to start with.
These all still look kicking good tooo me. _________________ -Dal

I really like that Saladin class DD. Always thought one would look cool with the big warp engine like the Excelsior/Enterprise-B. |

Maybe this is the wrong place for this, but I've been thinking about the DDX in module X1 lately and what it would look like. It has two warp engines on the ssd, so would they be on top like the NCL or on the bottom like the Reliant in Wrath of Khan? I assume it has the full size saucer and not the smaller one like a DW.
Maybe I think too much about SFB... Nah.... |

Something else I just thought of: That DNF reminds me of the dreadnought with the hexagonal primary hull in the ST novel Dreadnought! by Diane Carey. |

I am not sold on the latest reindition of the Enterprise. I don't like it. You can use the interconnecting dorsal as a ski slope right off the back of the secondary hull. The warp nacelles look like the doomsday machine in the original series and they are blue insteead of red. I don't like the blue. What I'd like to see is the designs with the original nacelles. then I wish I could kitbash them. I'd love to have a kitbashed "Big Mac" or Mars, or maybe a Kirov, a Ptolemy or even the USS Burke itself. _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. You're resurrecting this old thread to post that, why? _________________

Didn't realize it was old. The date is not too prominent I didn't look at it. If nobody wanted additional posts, they should have closed and locked the thread. Problem solved. _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. Arleigh Burke - USN

love the ships, big Mac and the Mars class look fantastic. my only ? (while trying to avoid "Treknobabble" ) is would'nt it be better for the Burke class Frigate to have the torpedo launchers below the Bridge instead of directly above the sensor/deflector dish array ? _________________ fun fun fun in the sun sun sun |
