I think you guys should push the message that if we get 16 players there is an Ace card awarded to the winner. Right now, in the whole world, this tournament is possibly the only place to get one (if we can get sixteen). I have seen emails from Paul and from SWA-Starfleet but the Ace thing isn't mentioned. Just a thought.

I unfortunately feel the same. I think we need a different format but still run by the company myself. We can't get sixteen. We can get 8-12. Maybe after a few 8-12 tournaments we can get back to 16. No tournaments though has taken the only reason a lot of people played online off the table.

That was a typo there. I did not mean "myself". I meant "itself". Although if human time is what is needed, I would help, but I want to play not just watch. I just think no matter what us players put together and run; nothing is exciting as a company sponsored event with some sort of company recognition. At this point in our lives, I doubt it needs much real money from the company. It needs just a little attention and an Ace card or some other medal or something. Something we count up wins and be proud of the accomplishment. Steve - I will send out an email to remind you guys.

I would recommend a swiss style format. I would also recommend some kind of recognition for players that complete the event if they don't advance to elimination stage.

I agree with a Swiss style format. That means if you pay to play and you lose the first match. Well that is it. At least you get to keep playing for the cost.
