Or should he just get the base version of the missile as reloads ...

For the base missile I would go for something along the the lines of

Speed 24 ...

I will admit I personally lean more towards one design becasue FC favours the KISS method when possible.

But a little bit of me wants to imagine my foes face when I get him with a 40 damage drone .

Will have to think about the drone to go with.

Since the old thread unfortunetly seems to have gone the way of the dodo and after fianlly getting Omega 1+2 (3 will be arriving soon), I really like what Omega has to offer, I've decided to start a new thread for those who are intrested in some Omega conversion notes.

So since I only have 1+2 it ...

I am not too sure what you are wanting, if you have read the plasma advice thread then you know the tricks to using plasma.

I am surpirsed the Plasma ships are moving so fast to close in with the hefty power requirements to load plasma I would have come in slower (If my oppenent is moving at speed ...

Tractor Anchor? wait to a close past and slap him with a tractor beam would be one way. Even for an orion doubleing his engines he is not going to ahave a huge amount of spare power.

Wait till he has turned towards you on a close pass and launch the plasma, its much harder for him to dodge when he ...
