Deceleration Cost

2B2b and its example seem to contradict themselves.

The rule says that to decelerate, you "use an Energy Token to buy a Deceleration Point," which leads me to believe that Deceleration always costs 1 regardless of the ship's movement cost. However, in the example, the Frigate with a movement cost ...

Re: Firing photons "every other turn"

Yes, you may pre-load a photon the turn after it was fired. For example, if you fired a photon during turn 3, you may pre-load it during energy allocation on turn 4 (and then complete the arming during energy allocation on turn 5). Once arming is completed on turn 5, the photon may be fired on turn ...

It says that a drone runs out of fuel at the end of "the third turn after launch". However, the rule then says to make a mark next to the damage record of each drone on the map, and once a drone has three marks, remove the drone, which means that it would be ...

Firing photons "every other turn"

I'll admit this is most likely a case of "reading things in the rules that aren't there," but I just want to be sure.

Can a photon torpedo be pre-loaded the turn after firing? (4C1b says it can be "fired every other turn", but is that pretty much there just because it takes two turns to load one?)
