Thanks.

Further use for SS
One use or abuse of SS not so far mentioned.
They make very effective loss leaders against Bases. as SS actualy move faster than bases. In a recent game My gorns moved from range 24 to range 16 on a base launching SS of various sizes every impulse. By the end of the turn I had a large heap of SS ...

Omega for real
Cool, don't mess with the discussion boards much for a few months and come back to discover Omega is in with a shout of being produced in FC.
So random thoughts.
Races/Ships
Maesron and Koligahr might not be the best pair to start as they don't have the really glitzy toys of some of the other ...

Andromendan HET questions
The rules on HET as written I believe allow an Andro to declare a HET each sub-pulse and even if they don't execute the HET they still spend the energy. This allows for some abusive battery emptying!
A simple change that stated Andro non-HETs didn't cost power would allow them to declare HET every ...

Turn 20
Still in progress
Turn 20 looks to be the turn of bases.
First up the Romulan fleet that played in the asteroid game relieved of its cripples and reinforced by a NH runs into an allied Lyran base station it didn't know about just as it comes under attack from a Federation fleet (all new ships ...

Kingston Campaign recent battles
I'll try and get one of the participants to do a full write ups but...
Turn 19 had rather a lot of terrain.
1.
Romulan fleet BB,RH, 2xFH, 2xSpH, SkH, 2xSea vs.
Federation 2xCS, 5xDD 3xDW 5xFF
in an asteroid field.
Quick version Romualns moved to find a nice clump of asteroids to sit in.
Fed ...

HEAT torpedoes
OK HEAT plasma for the Probr
There are two ways to go with this in terms of adapting them for FC.
Minimum changes to current FC rules or a more complex version.
The simplest approach.
HEAT torpedoes are treated the same a other plasma torpedoes in FC.
Except.
It cost two power for each of three ...

Implosion Torpedo's and HEAT
No posts this week so...
I thought I give a bit of thought to the two of the plasma weapons of the Omegan sector. The Trobrin Implosion Torpedo and the Probr HEAT.
Both have unique features that maybe difficult to translate into FC.
The Implosion Torpedo is the easier. It explodes either on ...
