Federation Commander

I've enjoyed reading your thoughts on Plasma. Hopefully others will join in. I've never played Plasma in a campaign setting. We've usually stuck to Feds and Klingons in campaigns. I'm hoping to get back into actually playing in the coming months. Cheers!

Lee is correct. I misread the 5S4 where it said...
(A given ship cannot get a shift of two by
using two channels, but you could use two or more

I too am looking forward to it being available on E-23 so I can get the book in color (I'm hoping in color anyway). I think Steve and Jean did a great job on the layout and the artwork in the book. All around, lots or people worked lots of hours to put this together.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the kind words. I'm very glad you liked it. One of the main intents was to really help out new players so that they can get insights into the game as early as possible, but I hope there is enough there for more experienced players as well.

AT last! The Federation Commander Tactics Manual has been released. I hope you enjoy it and the info improves your game play.

I have a few alternative for you....

1. When you do penetrate a shield use marine raids to take out his heavy weapons and phaser Gs.
2. If possible, target weapons, even if you have to fire a volley of overloaded disruptors to penetrate, and then a couple phaser targetting weapons on the next ...

Oh, one more thing, I don't think using suicide shuttles should cause a player to give points to the other player. Suicide Shuttles are a valid tactic in FC. I don't think they should be restricted. I like suicide shuttle,.... well the giving part , not so much with the receiving suicide shuttles ...

I would agree with Archer that the max number of ships should be increased to 5 at least. (1 DN /BC limit is good too.)

Also, One thing about Gorns and Romulans....

Romulans have faired pretty well, Gorns have never been successful. I think strong consideration to making Gorns have a .92 modifier ...
