My Guess would be your FED COM Library file is not up to date. Go to the TOOLS Menu, Select LIBRARY, click the FC tab, then click the UPDATE LIST button. Click YES when it asks if you want to check existing list for updates. When it finished that click the Download Button.

Not I. When I Moderate I use SFBOnline (or FCOnline) to manage the battle and print maps from that.

The battle for 1709 concluded last night with the Romulan's withdrawing. After like 11 turns and about 6 1/2 hours of play, the Romulans lost one WE, one WE and one armed cutter crippled, and the KE leaving the board with 1 down shield. The Klingon "native" defenders had a crippled D7 with 4 1/2 ...

If you want to more than duel, than I would suggest no more than 300 BPV in Fleet Scale, 600 BPV in Squadron.

Say a fixed map, but make it double sized.
