Thanks for the reply. I completely understand the resource constraints on a small company. Add to that tech challenges of unknown/lost/unsupported file types, and, well, yeah.

Completely agree, also, that Alpha stuff should be priority. I buy that up as it comes. ;)

Bump. I've gotten a couple buddies into SFB recently (finally, another group to play with), and we were talking about looking into Omega stuff "soon." Since we're minis junkies, I'm not as concerned about the counters and have a fondness for digital products, but only the Omega Master Rulebook is ...

I have, but usually something like: "There is no such thing as too many miniatures..." ;)

Perfect, thanks!

(Also, you ever have a chance to get to Card Kingdom down in Ballard? Feel free to take that to PM if you want.)

Gorn Tournament Cruiser?

Ok, this is a dumb question, and something I used to know but for the life of me can't recall at the moment.

Starline 2400 had some "Cruiser Boxes" that were, effectively, all the tournament ships for each empire. I'm wanting to start building up similar from Starline 2500, and can't recall which ...

We plan to put every SSD book on e23 but (because of some people who give nasty reviews to non-updated books) not until we update them.

I don't really know if that particular one has been updated or not.

Updating takes hours of work and the sales barely pay for the employee time, so we have to ...

Thanks for the info. Of course, the main Annex I was interested in was the Sequence of Play, which of course I then found on the starfleetgames.com website under resources. Crisis averted. ;)

(That said, will still gleefully buy other e23 SFB stuff when it becomes available.)

e23 SFB Annexes?

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere, but my search-fu is abysmal apparently.

I dug around in e23, but didn't find the SFB Annexes. I assume they haven't been done yet, and was just wondering if they were on the radar at all.

ACTASF needs to be better (fewer mistakes, closer to SFU) not more complicated. We brought it (and Starmada, which does the same thing) into the universe just to get to the beer and pretzels market. I just wish it had not been so rushed. Another two or three months of development and it would have ...

That's a consideration, but as was said elsewhere, no new ships will be released until all Book 1 ships are released. Perfectly reasonable, IMO.

What's remaining in that queue? (I could probably go figure it out, but thought you might have a list handy; if not, no worries, I'm sure someone else ...

I just needed to know the size I needed for very fine detailing.
It's a matter of personal preference.
Most people use a 10/0 or 20/0 spotter for the fine details.

I'm more of a rebel, myself.
99% of my painting is done with a #1 or #2 brush. The details are just done using less paint and a ...

I haven't done any Starline 2500 yet, but I do lots of other models. (I've got 3 fleet boxes sitting on my desk as my next project when a couple of other models I'm in process on get finished...)

Anyway, it does depend a lot on how big the gap is. For small stuff, you can use any "liquid" putty ...

The R2 SSD book is our latest addition to the e23. This 80-page ship book is from Module R2 covering Feds, Andros, Orions, Kzintis. It has been fully updated to the 2012 standard including Crawford Tables, updated refit lines (including the date the refit began), advanced shuttle tables, and all ...

From SVC on the BBS:

The distributors will get metal. Probably no resin through the stores.

This is all but certainly a permanent change for regular production. (I already discussed how special order resin production might play out.) Thanks for the info, Jean.

I must admit I am pretty ...

I fully understand the reason for the decision, even if I'm not as interested in the models if they're metal.

Of course, I preordered through my LGS back in November, and haven't cancelled the order. Now I'm wondering:

1. Will this switch be permanent, or only until production gets caught up?
2 ...
