Thanks - I'll spend some time with the fighters/X-ships once I'm back up to speed on all of the weapons/systems rules AND send you playtest reports over the next few months as I'm able.

I've not posted here (nor actually played a game of FC) in several years, and am a bit behind on the state of eProduct releases.

Before purchasing a series of FC SSD downloads, I'd like to know if the Ship Card packs contain cards that have been issued in physical products (Border/Attack/Booster ...

Already Laminated cards with one bonus ship would be "probably not's" for me.

Yes. All new cards in the .pdf releases, please. As to the list of products, anything not deemed worthy of a printed/laminated release is on the 'must-purchase' list for me (Frax, Omega, booster 93+, BoM, Jindarians ...

Can you guys post the event format/schedule here when you have it finalized? I may be able to attend part of the con (Sat. afternoon/eve, Sunday anytime) and would like to participate if I'm able to make it.

I have no 'stars' under 5n2d in my DK rules folio (rev. 0). Is this in a later printing of the DK book, Hydran Attack, or the RRB?

Played a Lyran/Hydran duel today and shocked my opponent by using an offensive ESG burst as part of a directed targeting attack. Is this legal?

I picked up W&P and boosters 28-30 from my LGS last Friday. Placed the order with them on Tuesday (they don't stock the game...grrr) and they notified me it was in on Thursday. Nice turnaround on a 100% fill!

Will the purchasable Reference Rulebook be updated (at some point in the indeterminate future - not asking for a firm date here) to include the rules from Hydran Attack and War And Peace?

I'd guess that someone would need SVC's permission to create and distribute a VASSAL module for FC/SFB.

I am concerned, however, that there has been no response to the two carriers included in CL37 and therefore have no idea if a 12 fighter carrier is a game breaker or not.

I don't have CL37, but are those SSD's the same as the ones SVC posted to the Discus board roughly 2 years ago? I don't have ...

That looks like a well-rounded selection of ship categories - a little something for everyone, so to speak. I'll take two.

Should one assume that all included ship cards will be squadron scale, or will there be squadron and fleet scale cards for each ship printed on the same page?

I would hope the first BoM book would include scouts/special sensors, maulers, and carriers/fighters (though carriers, fighters, and escorts would make a very nice book all by themselves). Ground bases and FRDs would also be a plus for campaign play (unless those are slated for release in the "VBAM ...
