Turning without moving forward
Assuming a ship has moved enough hexes in one direction to fulfill its turn mode requirement, and the ship is scheduled to move ... can the ship spend a point to decelerate yet still turn? i.e. change facing by 60 degrees but not move out of the hex.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Bottom line: I'm trying to figure out if a plasma or drone makes it through the defensive fire, can it knock out some weapons before they have a chance to fire ...

Same Hex Combat
Hello. Would someone please settle a slight rules disagreement between me and my opponent?
The situation: A ship is in hex 24, facing hex 23; and a stinger comes in from hex 14 to enter the ship's hex (24). This means the stinger was off the #6 shield (left front) when it was one hex away; It then ...

An option for those who want to fight it out is of course FCOL. (Nobody is online tonight. :( )
If you don’t want to join but still want to give this battle a try, you could always take 2 Fleet D7s (free with demo account) vs. a Fleet C8. (140 pts vs. 142 pts.) Just post in the FCOL section and ...

Here’s one for all you FC gurus out there:
You are playing a pick up game where each player gets ‘X’ points. No objective except to destroy the enemy. Under what circumstances would you pick 1 ship worth ‘X’ points – and under what circumstances would you pick 2 ships, each worth “X ...
